This week was created by the Pension Fund of the Christian Church to provide resources for congregations to show appreciation for those in ministry and encourage congregations to celebrate their pastors. Held this year from October 10-16, the Pension Fund will be offering prayers and encouragement throughout the week, explaining “we simply want to pray for you and your ministry.” This week also falls within Clergy Appreciation Month, which is the month of October.
