“Let’s Fish or Cut Bait!”

Georgia Disciples Women gathered in person for a fall retreat on September 23-25, 2022 at Epworth by the Sea, St. Simons Island, GA. In this beautiful seaside retreat setting, Disciples women were guided by the theme “Let’s Fish or Cut Bait!” as keynoter Rev. Nancy Oliver led the women through a creative exploration of the focus scriptures, Matthew 4:18-20 and John 21:1-14. With the “fishing lessons” women explored through a weekend of worship, keynotes, and small groups, Disciples women in Georgia are ready to fish — for people!

The weekend also included a service project for a local domestic violence shelter, Amity House, a Silent Auction, free time on St. Simons Island, a Service of Remembrance of our Disciples sisters who died this past year, and many opportunities to reconnect. Enjoy some of these photo highlights.
