Reconciliation Virtual Town Hall #2

As Disciples, we have been on a long journey toward racial reconciliation, one that is more urgent following the tragic events and devastating loss of life experienced in 2020. Where do we go from here in the struggle toward racial justice? And how can we approach the task of reconciliation in a new era? From these questions that shape our work, our Georgia Disciples Reconciliation Commission is holding a series of Virtual Town Halls committed to these principles:

•    Reconciliation is having difficult conversations.

•    Reconciliation is sharing stories.

•    Reconciliation is doing the work.

•    Reconciliation is sharing the pain and joys of another person who thinks differently than you.

•    Reconciliation is praying together.

You’re invited to join with us in this work in any or all of these Town Halls, part of the Upgrade Thursdays programming for 2021. Learn more and get ZOOM link here.
