Take time to recharge at the 2021 Georgia Disciples Women Fall Retreat! We hope to be together in person next year; in the meantime, join your sisters via Zoom for a time of fellowship and inspiration.

Keynote Speaker 2021
Rev. Dr. Delesslyn A. Kennebrew, J.D., M.Div.

Dr. Kennebrew is a visionary strategist, faithful innovator, inspirational essayist, preacher, and foster mom. For 15 years, she has worked to give life to the vision and mission of local churches as well as organized and spoken at ministry conferences, retreats, worship services, and other community events. Raised in Georgia and known to many in our Region, Dr. Kennebrew currently serves as the Regional Minister for Ministry Innovation in the Greater Kansas City Region of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Register here no later than September 22, 2021, being sure to select the workshop you wish to attend. You will be contacted by email prior to the event with Zoom links and instructions.

  2. Registration fee is $25; payment options include credit/debit card, direct debit (bank transfer), or PayPal using Payment button. You may also write a check to the Christian Church (DOC) in Georgia for $25 and mail to 2306 Vineville Ave., Suite B, Macon, GA. Please note the event and your name in the “for” section.

Friday, September 24

7:30-8:30 pm Online Fellowship

Saturday, September 25

9:30-10:45 am Opening Zoom with Keynote

11:00 am-12 noon Workshops (sign-up will be available via online registration; view workshop descriptions below)

12:15-12:30 pm Closing Worship with Communion

A link to the Memorial Service will be sent to registrants to watch on their own time.

FALL RETREAT SERVICE PROJECTS

Fall Retreat Service projects include the opportunity to give to Week of Compassion for hurricane relief; please indicate “Georgia Disciples Women” when asked for your congregation name. You are also invited to support Georgia Disciples Women’s Ministries; in the dropdown menu, please indicate that your gift is for Georgia Disciples Women.
