Interim Regional Minister:

Rev. Joan Bell-Haynes

Rev. Joan Bell-Haynes comes to us from serving as Executive Regional Minister for the Central Rocky Mountain Region of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the United States and Canada for more than six years. Rev. Bell-Haynes currently serves on the Pro-Reconciliation/Anti-Racism Team for the College of Regional Ministers as well as on the Boards of Lexington Theological Seminary, Disciples Divinity House, Chicago, and Disciples Church Extension Fund. She has significant leadership experience in spiritual development, conflict transformation, and bridge-building, as she proclaims all persons as “God’s beloved.” Please join us in celebrating the new places God is leading us on this journey of faith together as the Christian Church in Georgia.  

Regional Director of Women’s Ministries: Rev. Lainie Jenkins

Reverend Lainie Jenkins was raised in the Greek Orthodox Church and was a Presbyterian for several years before discovering the Christian Church (DOC) after moving to Guyton, GA.  Following her calling into women’s ministries, she has been planning and facilitating women’s retreats and other ecumenical events since 2001 and has been in leadership positions with Georgia Disciples Women for the last several years. Commissioned, then ordained as a minister in the Christian Church (DOC), she also has served as Co-Pastor for the Christian Church (DOC) in Savannah, serves with the Christian College of Georgia, facilitated a Disciples on Campus group at Georgia Southern University, and has served as Moderator of the Georgia Regional Board. Director of New Church and Church Development:
Rev. Kyle Ermoian

Kyle and his wife live in Ellijay, and are members of Cherry Log Christian Church, having come to Georgia in 2018 following 21 years of service as the founding and senior pastor of Celebration Community Church, Hays, KS, a church which grew from 14 to 1,200 members. He also taught in the Leadership Studies Department at Fort Hays State University. He currently serves as a consultant and coach to pastors for The Effective Church Group, which published his latest book, Church Turnaround A to Z. You can reach Kyle here.

 


Media Communications Coordinator:
Amanda Hale

Amanda is passionate about thinking outside of the box with creative communication tactics and design aesthetics — with the ultimate goal of drawing others into place of hope and community. Having previously served on staff at Peachtree Christian Church and at Sandy Springs Christian Church, she feels very at home working with the Christian Church in Georgia. Amanda resides in the Upper Westside of Atlanta with her husband and two young children. You can reach Amanda here.

Regional Co-Directors of Camp Ministries: Marilyn Parks & Pam VanDusen

Marilyn has been involved with Camp Christian as a youth, young adult, and now as a Co-Director. She is passionate about the Youth Summer Camp programs and has passed this on to her children & grandchildren. She is a life-long member of Lawrenceville First Christian Church.

Pam is a member of Warner Robins FCC, and is active in Regional ministries. She has been involved with Youth Camps since her children attended. Her grandchildren are now active and her husband, Stan, supports her enthusiasm for Camp Ministry. Her background also includes 19 years of service as the Regional Office Administrative Assistant.

Camp Operations Managers:
Oscar and Paulette Hugley

Oscar and Paulette are Macon, GA residents and have a heart for God's playground—the outdoors. They have a deep faith and devotion to Jesus and enjoy serving and loving God's people. They are gifted and experienced in property management, contracting, and hospitality.

Ja’Lisa is a resident of Warner Robins, GA, who loves the Lord and has a servant heart to bring her organizational and administrative gifts to our regional ministry. She is a graduate of Georgia Military College and the mother of three beautiful children.
