"Thankful Partners"
The assembly is smaller this year, possibly
due to change of weekend. Additionally there are 700 UM youth here, so
we are meeting in a different building with smaller rooms. A totally
different feel.Dr. Robert Lee Hill
is the assembly speaker. He preached from Philippians about "Thanks"
last night. "How do we say thanks?" he asked. Paul said thanks by
remembering, by praying, and with confidence that God will bring to
completion the work that God has started. That has implications for all
of our churches and for our region as a whole. Our region has been
around for 155 years!
