HELM LEADERSHIP FELLOWS PROGRAM ADDS CLASS OF 2011
Six emerging leaders in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) have
been named as the seventh class of Higher Education and Leadership
Ministries (HELM) Leadership Fellows HELM Leadership Fellows are
selected based on their leadership potential, church participation, and
academic promise. (see

One of the six new Leadership
Fellows is Jesse Stephenson, a member of Central Christian
Church in Columbus . Jesse will be entering
Transylvania University
this fall. He is a former member of the regional YAC commission,
attended several General Assemblies and many Regional events, been very
active in his youth group and congregation, and has participated in
Disciples mission projects each summer through High School. Jesse is the
son of Rev. Tom and Gladys Stephenson who serve Central Christian as
pastor and youth director. |
