Miracle Day began early in the morning |
At First Christian Church of Dublin |
Everyone checked in and registered |
By picking up a nametag with their
work assignment |
T-Shirts were also provided |
As was an excellent breakfast (Wake
up Girls!) |
Then it was on to Dublin United |
Where the first step was to check
in your tools |
Debbie Acre and Suzanne Wages started
the day |
With a short worship service |
Pastor Alphonso Whiting of Dublin
United welcomed everyone |
Suzanne told us about the day. |
We sang with the band from Iglesia
El Aposento Alto |
Bob Alveraz briefed everyone on the
work |
The materials were all laid out and
ready |
Bob recruited project leaders and
assigned tasks. |
The First-Aid staff was ready. |
And so the work began. |
So members from Iglesia El Aposento
Alto started cleaning and painting outside |
The landscape crew began clearing |
And raking |
making beds |
planting |
And planting. All ages helped! |
The pastors desk was sanded and painted |
as were all the pews and other furniture |
